Hiring full-time or part-time physicians to work in the Emergency Department at OakBend Medical Center's (OBMC) Williams Way Hospital in Richmond, Texas. Cross Credentialing required with OBMC's nearby ERs on Jackson St. in Richmond.

Emergency Department::

  • 11,300 patients per year
  • 31 patients per day (1.8 Pts./hour); 15% admissions rate
  • 8 bed ED
  • Single physician coverage – shifts: 7A -7P; 7P-7A
  • 15% admission rate

Hospital:

Oak Bend Medical Center – A regional independent non-profit health system serving Fort Bend County and the surrounding region. Comprised of three Campuses: (Jackson Street and Williams Way in Richmond, TX & Wharton Hospital in Wharton, TX.

  • 57 Bed Hospital
  • Full lab on site
  • XRAY, CT, US, POCUS
  • EMR Paragon (formerly AllScripts); Dragon dictation

Required Qualifications

  • BC/BE Emergency Medicine trained physician
  • BC/BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician with recent and one year of post-grad hospital ER experience
  • Texas medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA, ACLS, ATLS, PALS
  • NIH (stroke certification)
