Integrative Emergency Services (IES) is now hiring Advanced Practice Providers to join the team in the ED at AdventHealth Port Charlotte. Seeking Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners with at least one year of post grad clinical experience in the Emergency Department.

Emergency Department:

  • Volume: 30,400
  • ED Beds: 34
  • Admission Rate: 25%
  • Transfer Rate: 2%; largely trauma, Neurosurgery and Pediatrics 
  • Patients/Hour: 2.2
  • Physician Coverage: 6a-3p, 1p-10p, 9p-6a
  • APP Coverage: M-F 10a-10p, 39-MID; Sat-Sun 10a-10p, 3p-1a
  • EHR: Epic

Hospital:

Strong specialty support

  • Cardiovascular Surgery/Cardiothoracic Surgery (run the codes outside of ED)
  • Interventional Cardiology
  • Internal Medicine/Geriatrics
  • Orthopedics
  • Gastroenterology
  • Psychiatry
  • Hospital Medicine (handle admissions)

Required Qualifications

  • Board Certified Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner, with a minimum of 1 year Emergency Medicine experience post training
  • Active and unrestricted Florida License and DEA
  • Active ACLS
