Seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine physician to join the team at St. Luke's Health Emergency Room – Pasadena. This position requires a commitment of five 24 hour shifts per month, can be 1099 or W2.

Freeestanding ER/Hospital Outpatient Department:

  • Shifts: 5 24 hour shifts per month; 7A to 7A
  • Trauma Center: n/a FSER/HOPD
  • Patients Per Hour: .70
  • Daily Volume:  10 - 15 patients per day
  • ED Beds: 5
  • Admission Rate: n/a  direct transfer agreement to Patients Medical Center
  • Physician Coverage: 24 hours – single doc coverage
  • POCUS:  Sonosite
  • EMR: Meditech
  • Dictation:  Dragon
  • Scribes:  No
  • Lab: Yes - point of care
  • Xray:  Yes with 24/7 reads
  • CT: Yes with 24/7 reads

Required Qualifications

  • BC/BE Emergency Medicine physicians with one year of post-grad hospital ER experience
  • BC/BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians with one year of post-grad hospital ER experience
  • Texas medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA
  • ACLS, PALS, ATLS
