IES has an opportunity for an Emergency Department Medical Director at Ennis Regional Medical Center and Parkview Regional Hospital:

  • Provide on-site management of the clinical and administrative aspects for the emergency department.
  • Manage the quality improvement plan including attending regular meetings and review of medical records
  • Supervise staff, provide feedback, and assure provision of high-quality care
  • Review the provider schedule and ensure adequate staffing
  • Actively participate in the recruitment and retention of qualified physicians
  • Serve as liaison between hospital administration and clinical staff and provide regular feedback to IES leadership

Department Details:

  • 24 hours of physician coverage daily (twelve hr shifts)
  • 14K annual volume
  • 9 Bed Emergency Department
  • EMR: MedHost

Required Qualifications

  • BC/BE Emergency Medicine.
  • Previous experience as Medical Director or Assistant Medical Director.
  • Active TX License.
