Hiring a Physician Assistant or Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP-C certified) with at least one year of post-grad clinical experience in to join the team in the Adult Emergency Department at Tucson Medical Center as a full-time Nocturnist. 

Adult Emergency Department:

  • Annual Volume: 80,000
  • ED Beds: 60
  • Admission Rate: 32%
  • Admissions Done by: Hospitalists
  • EMR: Epic
  • Patients per Hour: 1.7
  • Physician Coverage: 69 hrs daily
  • APP Coverage: 50 hrs daily
  • APP Shifts:
    • Fast track: 8a-6p; 10a-8p (x2); 4p-2a; 5p-5a
    • Adult ED Extension: 8a-5p; 3p–12p
  • Imaging: POCUS; MRI, CT, Xray, Fluorosocpy, Nuclear, Interventional
  • Lab: Full service lab on-site

Required Qualifications

  • One or more years post-graduate professional clinical experience in hospital Emergency Department
  • Board-certified Physician Assistant or Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP-C)
  • AZ PA or NP license
  • DEA certificate
  • BLS, ACLS & PALS NRP if working in Pedi ED
